Meet 7 day old baby C. He was 7 days old when we did his photo session. I have been getting really lucky with my newborns lately...the past couple have hardly cried at all and haven't had any accidents on my blankets!!! This little guy already looks so much like his big brothers. It's funny that in some families that kids can all look so similar and in others, like my own, the kids look nothing alike!
As many of you may know...I have been having server issues for awhile now. I thought now is as good as a time than any to try to get it fixed for good!!! So, starting today through the next couple of days my website might go though periods of time when it is not live. Hopefully my server company can figure out what is going on and no one will have to deal with this anymore!
My baby Riley is 6 months old now. Time really does go by way to fast. She is my last baby and with every new milestone I get a little sad. No more first smiles, or first giggles :( I just want her to stay a baby forever!!
I photographed the S family last week at their home. Here is a sneak peak at their pics! I don't know how parents of twins do it....I don't think I could!
On Saturday I did XMAS mini sessions all day. I had 11 sessions that day...and it was a lot more work that I thought it was going to be!! All the kids were great though and everyone had a great time! Here is just a small sampling of what I shot that day :)
I have been so busy with sessions that I haven't had time to post to the blog lately. Once things slow down here in the next week or so I'll try to update some past sessions.
My Riley turned 6 months last week :( I haven't really had time to go through and edit any of her pictures yet, but are just a couple! The hat is from my friends Etsy store, One Stinkin' Petunia. She makes the cutest hats/photo props and everything is so well made. I only wish I had the talent that she does. I'm lucky if I can sew a button! If you buy anything from her shop tell her I sent you:)

I am working with my hosting company to try to fix the problem but no one really seems to know what is going on! After this week I will have some down time over the next couple of months....I am going to try to fix this problem and also update my website with new pricing, pictures, and maybe a new design??

I am taking pictures for a friends Etsy business that she is about to get up and running soon. In exchange for me taking pictures I get to keep all the great hats and photo props that she makes! I photographed a good friend from high school's new baby boy last week. He did SO good! I think we took one short break for a bottle and that was it. It isn't rare for a newborn session to last 3 hours if we have to take lots of breaks for diaper changes, feedings, etc. Not only did he sleep the entire time I didn't have to do ANY laundry after this session! I know that has NEVER happened before!
I am lucky enough to have these cuties live across the street! I think that J could be a model...seriously, I don't think he can take a bad picture! And I think his little sister is going to be the exact same :)
After having to reschedule twice because of rain we got in a session this morning before the rain this afternoon! This family has the most beautiful backyard complete with great landscaping, a pond, tire swing...basically a photographers dream! Maybe one day we'll have a backyard similar to that so I don't have to drag people all over the Quad Cities for pictures :) Enjoy your sneak peak!
Miss M was a part of my Baby's 1st year plan and this was the last session:( Time really goes by way to fast. It seems like just yesterday she was 3 months old! Enjoy your baby's while they are little because in a blink of an eye they'll be going to Kindergarten!
