Baby "L" came to see me today. I have known her mom since elementary school! Usually I prefer not to photograph newborns after about 10 days...but "L" did great at 18 days old! Her big brother sure seems excited to have a little sister:)

18 Months {Quad Cities Photographer}
I did this 18 month old a few weeks ago and have just forgotten to update it on my blog! 18 months is a hard age because these little ones don't want to stay still for even a second. Boy was this guy on the move:)
18 Months {Quad Cities Photographer}
This is my 2nd shoot that I did this weekend while in Chicago. Is he a cutie or what! I know parents always want a bunch of pictures to choose from, but honestly at this age you are lucky to get just one that you like. 18 month olds are so curious about their surroundings that it can sometimes be hard to get their attention!

1 Year old "A"
I traveled to Chicago this past weekend for my cousin's daughters 1st birthday party. While I was there we had a 1 year photo shoot. She didn't take her normal nap in the morning and wasn't her regular smiley self, but was still super cute!

Take 2-{Quad Cities Newborn Photographer}
After the session on Saturday we decided we would try again this morning and hope for more sleepy babies. I'm so glad that we tried again! These girls are so tiny and just so adorable...it is making me more exctied for my baby in May:)
Tutu's and headband are from Amanda at Teedles Tutu's. These make GREAT props!! Something to think about for your next session!

Twins! {Quad City Children's Photographer}
Saturday was a first for me...I had the opportunity to photograph twins! I have to admit I was a little nervous about it since I had never done it before. It really wasn't any different than my regular newborn session...you still get peed and pooped on and you do a lot of waiting for the baby to fall asleep....you just get peed and pooped on twice the amount and wait even longer for the babies to fall asleep!!! We got some shots in right away but after that I think the babies were just done! We waited for 2 hours for the girls to fall asleep but they were fighting it with everything they had! Mom said that they ended up sleeping 5 straight hours that afternoon. We are going to try again this week and hope for sleepier babies:)
